Amy Foster McReynolds's Biography

Amy Foster McReynolds is and always has been a force with which to be reckoned.  Growing up she lived by the motto, "It's better to ask forgiveness than permission."  It has served her well in the male-dominated career of home building in which she has excelled.

Amy is a 1990 Marana High School graduate.  While at Marana High School, she participated in DECA, FBLA, and Key Club.  As an athlete she played volleyball all four years with state recognition.  She played basketball for two years and was on the state winning basketball team her sophomore year.  Her success both on the courts and in the classroom earner her the Girl Scholar-Athlete nomination.  She served in student government all four years culminating as the Student Body President her senior year.  To top it off, Amy was also the class Valedictorian.

After graduation, Amy attended the University of Arizona.  While working on her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Amy began her career in home building as a runner for Pulte Homes.  Upon her graduation in 1994, she not only earned her degree but also her hard hat at Pulte Homes.

Amy began wearing the hard hat working as an Assistant Superintendent of Construction and then as the Superintendent of Construction.  during Amy's 18 years at Pulte, she rose to Vice-President of Operations/Sales & Marketing as well as other vice-president positions in AZ, CA, & NM.

Amy left Pulte to become Director of Play for McReynolds, LLC until her youngest entered kindergarten.  in 2011, she rejoined the workforce with Southern Arizona Home Builders Association (SAHBA).  In 2013, Amy was recruited by KB Home to restart the brand in Tucson.  Since then, she has held the title of Senior-Vice President, Executive Vice President, and continues to break the glass ceiling and make her mark as Division President of KB Home.

Amy continues her involvement in Marana schools and the community through her work with various booster clubs for her children's interests, serving on the 2340 Foundation board (which is only fitting as both she and her children all qualify as 2340 students), and by her involvement in local land and community development.
